DIARY OF DREAMING AND PHILOSOPHIZING / author Irena Jukić Pranjić
Legs will surprise you, but Irena has been in love with Zagora since she was very young. Everyone still remembers how she drew hearts pierced by an arrow on the school desks with the words Irena + Zagor written on them. She filled the entire book, from the first to the last page, with her name as it really will be – Irena Jukić Pranjić Te Nej, woman with an axe. Jealousy, she wiped her mustache with a mustachioed chiki concealer on the comic pages and dreamed, imagined and fantasized that she would one day marry a Zagor. And who would have known or said that Irena would receive the top prize in the comics album category for her dreaming, fantasizing and philosophizing.
STRIP-PREFIKS #2 / editors Saša Paprić, Mihaela Erceg, Korina Hunjak, Marko Dješka
Dear God, what a magnificent battle it was! In that, small in number, but therefore sharp and angry competition of comic magazines, the means and tactics were not chosen in order to reach the prize. The most skilled in that epic battle on all fronts was STRIP-PREFIKS, to whom we are awarding an award on this occasion, and whose author you can read in the other two magazines anyway.
MONSTERS: BEHIND THE SCENES / author Alan Jennings
Are people monsters or monsters are people too is a question that has plagued both people and monsters since time immemorial. Back then, while the world was still black and white, it seemed that the answer was simple, but don’t lie down, then Alan Jennings came along and added color to further complicate the issue. Because of this brave innovation, the jury awarded him the top prize in the fanzine category for the album MONSTERS: BEHIND THE SCENES.
FLIT / author Dušan Gačić
Someone drinks, someone swears, and someone pulls a knife for God’s sake. This author likes to drop bombs. In addition, in the body of this 65-year-old guy, the heart beats and the desire is as if it were 15 years old. With a bomb. Which he likes to throw around. From the above, you already understood why Dusan Gacic received a special award for his work in the fanzine category.
THE MAJDAN GARAGE 3 / author Vinko Barić
Man. Character. Legend. And that alone would be enough to give him and his fanzine an award. But Vinko Barić also draws comics, humane, artistic and legendary, which he then puts in the fanzine with some other comics. And that’s it.
